Black Virgin Mountain (Nui Ba Den)

Board the cable car to the top of Nui Ba Den, the highest peak in southern Vietnam at 986 meters. Visit the Black Virgin Temple at the summit, enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views over the flat Tay Ninh plains stretching toward Cambodia, and explore the sacred cave shrines on the slopes.

Cao Dai Holy See — midday ceremony

Arrive at the extraordinary Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh, the spiritual center of the Cao Dai religion founded in 1926. The temple exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons and the all-seeing Holy Eye above the entrance. Inside, statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and Brahma stand side by side. Attend the spectacular midday ceremony where hundreds of worshippers in white, blue and yellow robes perform their prayers in unison — one of the most visually striking religious experiences in Southeast Asia.

Cu Chi Tunnels

Drive to Cu Chi for the afternoon tunnel visit. Watch the wartime propaganda film, then spend over an hour exploring the underground network — bomb craters, mantraps, the American tank, weapon factory and the concealed kitchen. Crawl through a section of the original tunnels used by thousands of guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam War.
